Shapes
#
ShapeShapes can be added to a figure to highlight points or periods in time, thresholds, or areas of interest.
After selecting Annotate > Shapes click the +Shape button.
- Show / Hide Shows or hides the shape
Only available when the Show button is active
- Line / Rectangle / Ellipse
Determines the type of shape that is displayed in the trace

Horizontal BoundariesDetermine left and right end of the shape

Relative ToThe reference of the coordinates for start and end point; can be canvas or earlier defined axis
#
Start PointThe left end of the chosen shape (for ellipse: the left side of the bounding box)
#
End PointThe right end of the chosen shape (for ellipse: the upper right side of the bounding box)
#
Vertical BoundariesDefine the upper and lower end of the shape
#
Relative ToThe reference of the coordinates for start and end point; can be canvas or earlier defined axis

Start PointThe lower end of the chosen shape (for ellipse: the lower side of the bounding box)

End PointThe upper end of the chosen shape (for ellipse: the upper side end of the bounding box)

Lines#
WidthThe width of the line connecting the trace data points can be specified using the up- and down arrows for one-pixel increments, or enter the width directly in the text box, which allows fractional pixel values. Values smaller than 0.1 points are effectively invisible on pixel-based devices.

ColorThe line color can be set using this popup menu.
#
WdithContinuous, dashed or dotted line types can be set using this popup menu.

FillDetermines the looks of the inside of the shape
#
Color(Has no effect when shape Line, only with oval and rectangle)
Choose the fill color with the standard color picker[link]

OpacityDetermines the opacity of the entire shape
